We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of construction duties on various job sites, including but not limited to, reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, measuring and marking surfaces, erecting scaffolding, and operating various hand and power tools. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the project.
  2. • Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to the plans.
  3. • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
  4. • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other construction materials.
  5. • Cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, steel, concrete, and other materials using hand and power tools.
  6. • Operate hand and power tools to install and fasten materials, including nails, bolts, screws, and adhesives.
  7. • Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
  8. • Follow safety procedures on job sites, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

  1. • High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. • Proven experience as a construction worker.
  3. • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
  4. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  5. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  6. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  7. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  8. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Mix, pour and spread materials
  • Assist heavy equipment operators
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
